There were a number of Japanese Drama CDs issued that contain side stories to the anime. These CDs are audio only and in Japanese. There is no animation. A video image has been added to the audio so that the subtitles can be read while you listen to the original Japanese voice actors.
Although the anime is licensed, these Drama CDs were not licensed.
Drama CD 3 "Beasts on Land" takes place between episodes 39 and 40 of the anime.
