There were Japanese audio CDs released that contain stories related to the anime. These CDs are audio only and in Japanese. There is no animation. A video image has been added to the audio so that the subtitles can be read while you listen to the original Japanese voice actors.
Although the anime is licensed, these audio dramas were not licensed.
After the End is an audio drama recorded by the original cast members of Evangelion which was originally released as a track on the Evangelion Soundtrack CD "Addition."
