These two OVAs follow the continuity of "Mahou Sensei Negima", but they are made by the director of the remake, "Negima!?" who imparted his sense and sensibility. Technically they are not really part of either show, but fall into the cracks between the two and should be enjoyed for what they are without concern for such details.
